Charley Webb was born on February 26th 1988 in Bury, Manchester. From a young age she has always been interested in acting, from starring in a production of Bugsy Malone when she was eight, attending theatre school, to her current role as Debbie Dingle in ITV soap Emmerdale.
Charley has been in Emmerdale since 2002. Originally a small part as foster child Debbie Jones, a character that was later developed and revealed as the daughter of Charity and Cain Dingle. Charley is not the only member of her family who has an acting career, her brother Jamie Lomas plays the part or Warren Fox in Channel 4 Soap Hollyoaks. She also has a sister who is a makeup artist.
In September 2009 Charley announced she was expecting her first baby with boyfriend Matthew Wolfenden. She gave birth to a boy in April 2010, and they have named him Buster Lawrence Wolfenden.
Charley has taken a break from Emmerdale for her maternity leave for a few months and will be returning at the end of the year.
